HOW DO YOU ACCESS TSAVO NATIONAL PARK?
Tsavo national park's geography can be accessed through three main gates. When coming from Voi, you enter through the Manyani gate. When coming from Mombasa, you can access the park through the Bachuma gate and from Malindi through the Sala gate. Just but to mention, the park is under the Kenya Wildlife Service governing body. If you are coming into the game park using a chartered plane, there are several airstrips within the park that you can use.There are two rivers inside the park: the Athi river (which originates from the highlands and the Tsavo river; the site of the 1898 Tsavo Maneaters. At the center of the park, both the Athi and the Tsavo rivers converge to form the Galana river; the main watershed in the lower park. It is also a source of abundant fish; as well as huge amazing crocodiles. It also serves the Tsavo National Lodge with fish and crocodile fish. What a site! The park is made up of mostly semi-arid and grassland savanna.

The Tsavo national park is considered one of the world's bio-diverse stronghold because of of its vast number of wildlife. The environment, the serenity and the beautiful sceneries of this game park will leave you with a beautiful memories. The animals in this park include the big five: the Leopard, the maasai Lion, the black Rhino,Cape Buffalo and the Elephant. The Tsavo East National park is larger than the West and is considerably flat, with dry plains where the Galana River runs across. On the centrally,the Tsavo West National Park is wet and mountainous and is famous for bird life and large mammals. When driving across the park you can't help noticing the beautiful birds and animals spread around that ecosystem. The park is located 400 KM south West Nairobi and 200 Kilometers from Mombasa.

Inside Tsavo National Park, there are six lodges namely: Kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge; Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge; Voyager Ziwani, Tsavo West Lodge; Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge;Ngulia Safari Camp and Tsavo Safari Camp (Taita Hills Lodge. All these lodges are located in Tsavo West National Park. There are also other lodges which includes the Tsavo Camps and Lodges; a group of 3 lodges namely: The Rhino Valley Lodge,Ndololo Safari Camp and the Tsavo Lodge. All these lodges are within the park.
